The letterpress cards are printed on 100% cotton (tree free) paper.

Ice Cream Social

I fell in love with these cards posted on design*sponge the other day. We have lived there for a year now and it still doesn't feel like home. It's hard for me to make decisions about painting and nailing things to the wall. So far I'm off to a good start though. Yesterday I purchased a print from Yellena and today I purchased the above green and brown image from joom. I've always been a fan of the work from joom so I'm happy I finally made this purchase. I also love the fact that the artwork is already framed. One of things I want to do this year is continue to make this blog better and I felt the first step in doing that was to make sure the design stays fresh. In helping to keep up with that I hope to change the header image once in a while. I know that I get tired of looking at the same design everyday so I don't want my readers to ever feel that way. The content of the blog will always remain the same.

Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. It's not everyday I feel so in love with what I post about though. Today I am in love with these notebooks from Jengs Shop. They are just gorgeous. The books are saddle stitched and contain 30 pages of sketch paper. Size is 4.5" x 6.5". These would make perfect stocking stuffers. Hopefully Jen would still be able to rush them to you if you need a last minute gift. I think I need a last minute gift for myself.

Bill O'Neil

I'm loving the work of Bill O'Neil. I just found his etsy shop yesterday morning and was instantly drawn to his prints. Above is one of his prints beautifully framed followed by one of his calendars which is currently for sale. His artwork is modern and simple yet has so much personality. If you're in Milwaukee stop by the main gallery in the Intercontinental Hotel to see Bill's work. It will be in the Gallery until January.
