Father’s Day is coming

Oops, another posting over here at Paper Shop Ink has crept up on me and I’m not prepared. So, you’ll have to forgive me for bringing up Father’s Day so soon after Mother’s Day. Anna Ruby King

Anna recently sent me an email about her handmade cards. They are really unique so of course I'm more than happy to post them here. Anna's cards are made with recycled card stock and fabric. The fabric adds such special detail to the cards. They're beautiful. Check out Anna's etsy shop here.

I'm just showing you a few things from the etsy shop of SISKAstudio, but you should definitely check out the rest of the collection. The shop is full of colors and textures. This shop has a wide range of style. Each item is different from the next. Shops like this are very interesting. You never know what the artist is going to create next.

Pop-Up Cards by Tracy Chong

These handmade pop-up cards are amazing! The cards are 5.2" x 4" and are made of cardstock. Each card comes with a matching envelope. I can imagine how much time goes into creating one of these cards. They are very unique.

Tracy is currently earning her graduate degree in science but obviously she also has a strong passion for art. If you're looking for something special to send to a friend definitely check out Tracy's shop.

Melissahead Designs

I'm jealous! Melissa's new website looks great. You can view all her designs online and the shop link takes you directly to Melissa's etsy shop. She currently has some great items for sale.

MadeByGirl

Jen Ramos, the owner and designer behind MadeByGirl.com has a great sense of style. I've been a reader of Jen's blog for a while now and was happy to see an email from her reminding me of her great stationery shop. Studio on Fire

These are images from the Cardline at Studi on on Fire. The cards feature illustrations by select group of talented artists. Each card is printed on 100% cotton paper. Studio on Fire is both a letterpress shop and design studio. Check out the site because the designs are fantastic and it's pretty obvious they do outstanding work.

Evie S., Things of Beauty

I’m sort of in a trance today. I think I have to much going on at the moment and with the holidays coming up I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. Sorry if it seems I’ve been neglecting the blog,I’m still here!

When I was reading Cuteable the other day I came across these definition cards from Sapling Press. They’re so pretty. I thought Sapling Press sounded familiar and realized I saw some of there products a few years ago at the Biazarre Bizarre in Cleveland. This was way before I started this blog though. I'm happy to see some new work from them and looking forward to the new web site.

Nic Events - Holiday Style!

Nicole from nic events emailed me to let me know that tomorrow (11/21) she is launching a holiday card line. The cards will be for sale on Nicole's website and on etsy. I thought I would post these cards because they're definitely unique. If you're looking for a different approach to sending a special card this holiday season, you might find what you're looking for at nic events.

Amy Ruppel & Target

I received my Holiday Target catalog last night in the mail. I remembered reading a post on design*sponge that Amy Ruppel was doing all the artwork for target this season. The cover of the catalog is beautiful. I want to save it! My husband probably thinks I'm crazy.

Amy has some holiday cards for sale at Vigo. They are $42.00 for a box of 10. It would be a hard decision deciding on which set to purchase.

The next online sale at Amy's website is Friday November 30th. Mark your calendars. Right now you can purchase the print shown in the last picture above at Reform School. Amy is the featured artist. The print is 11 x 14, signed and numbered. The cost is $35.00 with proceeds going to The american Bird Conservancy.

In-vita Paper Studio

Aren't these little birds cute? These cards are from the etsy shop of In-vita Paper Studio. Each set of 6 cards are 3.5 x 5 and comes with matching 4Bar envelopes. Of course there are some holiday cards listed in this etsy shop. I'd be interested in seeing some more designs from In-vita. I loved the blue and yellow color combination on the thank you cards above.

Neah Bay Douglas {NBD} Letterpress

Neah Bay Douglas Letterpress was recently featured in the September issue of Town & Country Weddings. NBD creates custom wedding invitations that are letterpress printed on 100% cotton handmade paper. NBD also carries a custom line of baby stationery and boxed cards. My favorite part of these stationery products are the pressed botanical embellishments. They are presented so elegantly. They have a small presence but truly make for a unique product.

Susiea Vintage

I find myself being drawn to this vintage look more and more. These cards and tags are from the etsy shop of Susiea. I believe it takes a great deal of creativity to pull this look off. These pieces are beautiful. They look like they have so much meaning behind them.

Bemi Designs

I've received so many email submissions lately and I haven't been able to keep up! I apologize for the delay in getting these posts up. Thanks for submitting your work and I do enjoy reading all the emails.

These cards are from the etsy shop of Bemi Designs. Christie wrote in to tell me about her handcrafted cards. Maybe she knew how much I like cards with stitching. In Christie's shop you can find greeting cards as well as notecard sets. Of course she also has some holiday cards this time of year.

As I was writing this post I realized Christie has another etsy shop called With Love Designs. Make sure to check out this crafty shop too.

Write Robinson Stationery

Angel emailed me to let me know her holiday collection is completed and ready for purchase. If you're looking for some unique custom cards this year then definitely check out Write Robinson.
