Paper Culture is a great site for modern invitations and stationery. The company also does great things for the environment. Cards to Trees is a program set up by Paper Culture.

“For every order placed, we plant a tree in a US national forest. In effect, your cards plant trees. Each customer has an opportunity to dedicate a tree with every purchase (see sample dedications). We know that planting a million trees will not happen overnight. In fact, it will take years. But every tree really does make a difference (examples). We are focused, we are determined and we hope you will join us in our path to a million trees.”

It’s nice to see paper companies not only being environmentally friendly but also giving back to the environment.

Baby Shower Thank You Cards

Can’t believe my baby shower is in a few weeks. I had some free time recently so decided to design some thank you cards. It feels good to get things accomplished early. There’s so much to do in the next few months before the baby arrives.

The cards are 5.5″ x 4.25″ and blank on the inside. They’ll have matching blue envelopes.

* There are currently a lot of spam comments on the blog. I’m doing my best to remove them all.

Fall Wreath

I’d love to make this wreath for the fall from Paper Source. Not sure I have the time or patience right now. A while ago I bought a paper flower making kit from Paper Source. It took me a while but the flowers turned out nice. Has anyone purchased the paper wreath kit?

My mouth fell open when I landed on Jessica Wood’s etsy shop. Her designs are gorgeous.

Jessica is a designer and illustrator from Minneapolis. All the pieces for sale in her etsy shop are hand-drawn. The colors and style she illustrates is breathtaking. Guess I have to stop admiring her designs and get back to my own work!

Just received an email that the new collection of wallpaper from Amy Butler is now available at Graham & Brown. There’s so many to choose from and they’re all so beautiful. If I were currently redecorating I’m not sure how I would choose one.

I’m Back

It’s been so long. I’m so happy to have my blog back up and running. A few months ago blogger informed its users that you could no longer use the ftp service. I’m so lucky to have a husband who was able to convert my blog over to WordPress. It took some time but it’s now fully functional again. I hope to be making some updates and blogging on a regular basis starting NOW!
