Ubiki

by admin

When I first started this blog Sion from Ubiki was probably one of my first readers. She gave me a lot of support through her blog at the time, cuteable.com. I was instantly a huge fan of the work Sion talked about on cuteable but also of the work she created at Ubiki. I have a few of her designs hanging around my house but I was happy to read on the Ubiki blog that she has created some new artwork. You can purchase Sion’s artwork at etsy.

Joom

by admin

One thing I’m doing for sure this year is decorating my house. We have lived there for a year now and it still doesn’t feel like home. It’s hard for me to make decisions about painting and nailing things to the wall. So far I’m off to a good start though. Yesterday I purchased a print from Yellena and today I purchased the above green and brown image from joom. I’ve always been a fan of the work from joom so I’m happy I finally made this purchase. I also love the fact that the artwork is already framed. That’s one less thing I have to do!

Essimar

by admin

What I like most about the etsy shop of Essimar is the variety. The paper layered prints are amazing and the note cards are very unique. If you purchase one of the paper layered prints you actually get an original not a copy or scan. There is only a certain number of prints created in each set.

I love finding an artist on etsy and then visiting their personal website. Essimar has a pretty cool site and blog.

Amy Ruppel & Target

by admin

I received my Holiday Target catalog last night in the mail. I remembered reading a post on design*sponge that Amy Ruppel was doing all the artwork for target this season. The cover of the catalog is beautiful. I want to save it! My husband probably thinks I’m crazy.

Amy has some holiday cards for sale at Vigo. They are $42.00 for a box of 10. It would be a hard decision deciding on which set to purchase.

The next online sale at Amy’s website is Friday November 30th. Mark your calendars. Right now you can purchase the print shown in the last picture above at Reform School. Amy is the featured artist. The print is 11 x 14, signed and numbered. The cost is $35.00 with proceeds going to The american Bird Conservancy.

Geninne’s Pile of Wood on Paper

by admin

This was the first thing I saw on etsy today and I just loved it. I think I might have to get one of these prints from Geninne’s etsy shop. This signed print is 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. Geninne has some amazing work. I have not come across her artwork before but glad I did this morning.

Yellena

by admin

You can find this artwork in the etsy shop of Yellena. These are beautiful prints created on 100% cotton, archival injet paper. You could look at these for hours and come up with all sorts of stories about them. The colors are so mesmerizing.

Bloom, Grow, Love by Alicia Bock

by admin

Alicia Bock’s work was recently featured in the September issue of People magazine. I found Alicia while searching through etsy. She has a fantastic etsy shop. Alicia’s photographs are absolutely breathtaking. There’s no other word to describe them…. so take a look for yourself.

Alicia also donates a portion of her profits to Half the sky.

I absolutely want one of these prints from Sanna Annukka. (I want a lot of things right now). Sanna recently opened an online shop. Now you can purchase some of her work here. Make sure to browse her portfolio also. Sanna has done some amazing work.

Swallowfield

These are two of my favorite pieces from the etsy shop of Swallowfield. Jennifer Judd-Mcgee is the owner of Swallowfield. She specializes in mixed media collage, drawing and gocco. I love the originality of her work. Click here to visit Jennifer’s blog.
