Coasters from Sarah Ridgley

by admin

These letterpress coasters are from the shop of Sarah Ridgley. They would definitely make a great hostess gift or housewarming gift. Of course you could just buy them for yourself too! Each set comes with 8 coasters neatly tied in a matching box.

Pistachio Press

I thought these cards from Pistachio Press were stunning. Rachael Hetzel officially launched Pistachio Press this past summer. However she has been creating beautiful letterpress since 2003. There are some beautiful items for sale in the Pistachio Press etsy shop. If you’re looking for some custom designs make sure to stop by PistachioPress.com.

Lizard Press

Lizard Press is an etsy shop filled with letterpress stationery. On the Lizard Press blog there is a good post about what goes into letterpress pricing. This is a great read. I know the basics about letterpress but I enjoy reading about it from people who actually make letterpress stationery.

The sun and moon cards pictured above are printed on one of my favorite papers, Fox River’s recycled Confetti. The cards are made with vintage wood type and contemporary polymer plates.

The Congratulations card above is a reprint of William Morris’ wallpaper designs from the 1800′s. Interesting!

Letterpress by Armato

This is a great video of the letterpress process. The video shows the work of Armato design & press from Minneapolis. Armato has an etsy shop with some gorgeous paper products. This is a great find. I’m going to try to post some more products from Armato later on. For now check out this video if you have an interest in letterpress.

Chapel Press

by admin

From wedding invitations to recipe journals, Chapel Press produces beautiful products. The recipe book is my favorite item. Currently I have a recipe drawer with a bunch of loose papers floating around. (not very organized in the recipe department).

The Chapel Press website is very well designed and easy to navigate through. Love the colors of the site.

Ella Studios

A co-worker of mine sent me a link to Ella Studios this morning. Right away I thought this would be a good post for a Monday. I can definitely relate to some of these cards, especially today!

Ella Studios belongs to graphic designer Lisa Delu Vavrick. Lisa’s expressions collections are both witty and luxurious.

Earmark Invitations

Design*Sponge has updated the letterpress guide available on the web site. You can find all sorts of amazing stationery here. If you’re looking for custom invites for a wedding or an upcoming event this is a great guide. You can even search by state if you would rather use a local vendor. Above is one of my favorites, Earmark Invitations. These are a few of their stationery pieces. I love that shade of green.

Pearl & Marmelade

by admin

It looks like Pearl & Marmalade has been an etsy member for quite a while now. I don’t know how I’ve never seen their work anywhere. It’s very detailed letterpress. Pearl & Marmalade is run by designer-artists Dani + Lee in Chicago.

Pearl & Marmalade was recently featured in the summer issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. The magazine featured the letterpress Honeybeee cards. Check out the article on page 264.

Satsuma Press

I came across Satsuma Press accidentally this morning. After looking through the products I thought this would be a good post for a Monday morning. The letterpress cards are very simple but I definitely love the style. Coming soon are limited addition stationery designs. The designs are created in collaboration with designer Lara Cameron (who I posted about last week, love her stuff!) Click here to purchase.
