I instantly fell in love with this website. Located in Syracuse New York, Smock is a letterpress shop with 20 antique presses. All printing is on luxury bamboo paper. Smock is the first and currently the only print shop to offer printing on this kind of sustainable paper. Visit the Smock website to find a retailer near you. Their work looks amazing online so I’m guessing it’s even more beautiful in person.

Valentine’s Day cards are everywhere. I’m really liking the collection in the etsy shop of papereredtogether. They are sort of nontraditional but that’s what makes them unique. The letterpress cards are printed on 100% cotton (tree free) paper.
Ink+Wit

I bought this beautiful print from Ink+Wit the other night. It was part of the 2008 wall calendar. Only eleven prints were made and I’m so happy to be getting one. It was printed by Pistachio Press.
Studio on Fire

These are images from the Cardline at Studi on on Fire. The cards feature illustrations by select group of talented artists. Each card is printed on 100% cotton paper. Studio on Fire is both a letterpress shop and design studio. Check out the site because the designs are fantastic and it’s pretty obvious they do outstanding work.
Letteria

Presentation is everything! I was drawn to the etsy shop of Letteria by the look of the shop page. Now we all know that etsy is pretty standard and most pages look the same besides the products and the header images. However I love how mostly all the products on Letteria’s page match in color and style. It creates such a mood/feeling as well as a defined theme. Isn’t the garland great? If you’re hosting a holiday party this year this garland might be a nice finishing touch to your holiday decor.
Sapling Press

I’m sort of in a trance today. I think I have to much going on at the moment and with the holidays coming up I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. Sorry if it seems I’ve been neglecting the blog,I’m still here!
When I was reading Cuteable the other day I came across these definition cards from Sapling Press. They’re so pretty. I thought Sapling Press sounded familiar and realized I saw some of there products a few years ago at the Biazarre Bizarre in Cleveland. This was way before I started this blog though. I’m happy to see some new work from them and looking forward to the new web site.
Albertine Press

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
If you sent me an email I’ll try to get to it soon. One of the emails I received over the long weekend was from from Albertine Press. Shelley wanted to tell me about her limited-edition, hand-marbled 2008 calendar. I was unfamiliar with the term hand-marbled. Here is Shelley’s explanation of the calendar “Each sheet of each calendar is an original work of art, no two alike (except in general pattern). There’s a different pattern for each month, and the month blocks are letterpress printed onto the gorgeous, luscious Pescia paper.”
Each calendar is signed and numbered.
Thanks for the email Shelley!
Neah Bay Douglas {NBD} Letterpress

Neah Bay Douglas Letterpress was recently featured in the September issue of Town & Country Weddings. NBD creates custom wedding invitations that are letterpress printed on 100% cotton handmade paper. NBD also carries a custom line of baby stationery and boxed cards. My favorite part of these stationery products are the pressed botanical embellishments. They are presented so elegantly. They have a small presence but truly make for a unique product.
