It's tough--I really think that you just need a ton of exposure on blogs and press if you're going to sell anything that's above the $10 or $20. Good luck--they're beautiful :)
Honestly, for something like Etsy (I could be totally wrong, I don't actually sell on Etsy - this is from a customer point of view) I really think it's better to sell stationery sets or individual cards, not personalized stationery. Advertise your personalized cards, but use the sets/individual cards as your money stream and a way to get people flowing to your store. I know that's what I look for on etsy, anyway. :)
