I’m looking to have a personal project printed with letterpress. I’m not sure who to turn to in order to get a quote. Can anyone offer their services or suggest someone? Thank you. Please email me if you have suggestions.

Satsuma Press

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

It’s been a little while since I checked the etsy shop of one of my favorite letterpress studios. Satsuma Press always has gorgeous items for sale. Today I found these two beautiful cards for Valentines Day. If I purchase them, I won’t want to give them away.

Growth Chart

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

These growth charts for sale on Rag & Bone Bindery are adorable. I don’t have any one to measure and this isn’t exactly related to stationery but I couldn’t resist sharing this find.

The charts are 8″ x 40″. These would make a really cute gift too.

622 Press

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

Have you seen the new stationery collection from 622 press. Pretty nice. This name was new to me but here is some information I received in an email from Kristin, the owner of 622 press.

“Madison, Wisconsin-based graphic designer Kristin Joiner successfully created and executed her first piece on her antique 1882 Pearl Old Style letterpress in June of 2008 and has been printing and artfully experimenting ever since. Each of the five new core designs is manifested in a variety of colorways and arrangements, and all offer the elegant handcrafted style of a small boutique press.

622 press utilizes only the finest materials including hand-mixed oil-based inks, 100% recycled cotton letterpress paper and other quality art papers and creates every piece using earth-friendly processes. “

Love the Card of the Month option available in Kristin’s etsy shop.

Every time I walk into Barnes & Noble I’m drawn to the Jonathan Adler display. Have you seen it? I know the collection has been available for a while but I was just there recently and saw a few new items on display. The colors and patterns are just gorgeous.

Keep Calm and Carry On

Monday, January 12th, 2009

I’m a regular visitor to Victoria’s blog called sfgirlbybay. I’m sure most of you are familiar with her blog and etsy shop. I was so surprised the other night to see a Keep Calm and Carry On poster on Lipstick Jungle. The poster was hanging in Wendy’s (Brooke Shield’s character) house. Just thought that was probably pretty exciting for Victoria. :)
