I wanted to tell you about this awesome site where you can download photoshop templates. If you're looking to print your own holiday cards this year this is a great resource. You can download any template on the site for only $6.00 and then insert your own photos.

Janice is really talented and I'm sure as the holiday approaches she'll be adding some great templates to the site.

Sapling Press

I’m sort of in a trance today. I think I have to much going on at the moment and with the holidays coming up I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. Sorry if it seems I’ve been neglecting the blog,I’m still here!

When I was reading Cuteable the other day I came across these definition cards from Sapling Press. They’re so pretty. I thought Sapling Press sounded familiar and realized I saw some of there products a few years ago at the Biazarre Bizarre in Cleveland. This was way before I started this blog though. I'm happy to see some new work from them and looking forward to the new web site.

Petite Pear {Gift Tags}

The day after Thanksgiving we started receiving Christmas Cards. It still feels early to me. However this told me I should probably decide what cards to send out this year. I still haven't done that but I did purchase these gift tags from the etsy shop of Petite Pear. This is a start right?

I spent about an hour on etsy trying to decide which gift tags to purchase. These were definitely my favorites so I wanted to share them with you. Petite Pear has a huge selection of gift tags for sale.

Albertine Press

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

If you sent me an email I'll try to get to it soon. One of the emails I received over the long weekend was from from Albertine Press. Shelley wanted to tell me about her limited-edition, hand-marbled 2008 calendar. I was unfamiliar with the term hand-marbled. Here is Shelley's explanation of the calendar "Each sheet of each calendar is an original work of art, no two alike (except in general pattern). There's a different pattern for each month, and the month blocks are letterpress printed onto the gorgeous, luscious Pescia paper."

Each calendar is signed and numbered.

Nic Events - Holiday Style!

Nicole from nic events emailed me to let me know that tomorrow (11/21) she is launching a holiday card line. The cards will be for sale on Nicole's website and on etsy. I thought I would post these cards because they're definitely unique. Field & Sea

Wow! I just fell in love with these small gift boxes this morning from Field & Sea. They are gorgeous and completely handmade. The etsy shop of Field & Sea carries many different patterns and sizes. Great for gifts like jewelry and candy.

Amy Ruppel & Target

I received my Holiday Target catalog last night in the mail. I remembered reading a post on design*sponge that Amy Ruppel was doing all the artwork for target this season. The cover of the catalog is beautiful. I want to save it! My husband probably thinks I'm crazy.

Amy has some holiday cards for sale at Vigo. They are $42.00 for a box of 10. It would be a hard decision deciding on which set to purchase.

The next online sale at Amy's website is Friday November 30th. Mark your calendars. Right now you can purchase the print shown in the last picture above at Reform School. Amy is the featured artist. The print is 11 x 14, signed and numbered. The cost is $35.00 with proceeds going to The american Bird Conservancy.

Tags and patterns! I love these. They are beautiful, especially the dark brown ones. You get 16 tags for $2.75. I think that's a pretty good deal. You can purchase right here.

In-vita Paper Studio

Aren't these little birds cute? These cards are from the etsy shop of In-vita Paper Studio. Each set of 6 cards are 3.5 x 5 and comes with matching 4Bar envelopes. Of course there are some holiday cards listed in this etsy shop. I'd be interested in seeing some more designs from In-vita. I loved the blue and yellow color combination on the thank you cards above.

Cecily ink {2008 Calendar}

Yesterday when I got home from work the calendar I ordered from Cecily ink was waiting for me. I just wanted to say it's even more beautiful in person. I bought it for a gift so unfortunately I had to wrap it back up. There was also an awesome gift tag included with the calendar. The whole package was just perfect.

Things are better with a Parrott

Sarah recently emailed me to tell me about her 2008 gocco calendar for sale on etsy. I'm a huge fan of Sarah's work and I have posted about her shop in the past. The calendars are 5" x 7" and printed on 110 lb solar white cover stock. The calendar pages are kept together with a bulldog clip. You can purchase one right here.

Nic Events

I recently got an email from Nicole, the owner and designer of nic events. I'm not quite sure how Nicole even had the time to email me. It seems she has been pretty busy lately. Nic events was recently featured in the October issue of HOW magazine. (click here to read the article) A month later Nicole has relaunched an updated website.

When I was reading through Nicole's website I found one sentence that I feel makes nic events stand out from the rest. "Your event design will mean more to you than anything that you could have picked out of a book". Nicole focuses on the event, not just the invitation. Visit nic events if you're looking to add some special elements to a special event. I'm sure she can help you!

Invite Design — Going Green

Invite Design recently launched a new web site as well as an "environmentally conscientious" Green Line. Not only are these invitations eco-friendly but they are absolutely gorgeous. There are so many options to choose from.

All Green Line invitations and envelopes are printed on 100% recycled or tree-free content with environmentally-friendly inks. These invitations can be customized just like the previous Select and Elite invite collections.

Putting all of this together is a lot of work and an extreme amount of time and research. I'm very happy for Genevieve and Nicole on the launch of this new Green Line. Congrats!

Neah Bay Douglas {NBD} Letterpress

Neah Bay Douglas Letterpress was recently featured in the September issue of Town & Country Weddings. NBD creates custom wedding invitations that are letterpress printed on 100% cotton handmade paper. NBD also carries a custom line of baby stationery and boxed cards. My favorite part of these stationery products are the pressed botanical embellishments. They are presented so elegantly. They have a small presence but truly make for a unique product.

Susiea Vintage

I find myself being drawn to this vintage look more and more. These cards and tags are from the etsy shop of Susiea. I believe it takes a great deal of creativity to pull this look off. These pieces are beautiful. They look like they have so much meaning behind them.

Decor8 Calendar Roundup

I'm still having trouble posting images in blogger. I'm not sure what the issue is but I'm hoping it resolves itself soon.

Bemi Designs

I've received so many email submissions lately and I haven't been able to keep up! I apologize for the delay in getting these posts up. Thanks for submitting your work and I do enjoy reading all the emails.

These cards are from the etsy shop of Bemi Designs. Christie wrote in to tell me about her handcrafted cards. Maybe she knew how much I like cards with stitching. In Christie's shop you can find greeting cards as well as notecard sets. Of course she also has some holiday cards this time of year.

As I was writing this post I realized Christie has another etsy shop called With Love Designs. Make sure to check out this crafty shop too.

Geninne's Pile of Wood on Paper

This was the first thing I saw on etsy today and I just loved it. I think I might have to get one of these prints from Geninne's etsy shop. This signed print is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". Geninne has some amazing work. I have not come across her artwork before but glad I did this morning.

Satsuma Press

Another beautiful 2008 calendar. I love Satsuma Press and was so happy to get an email from Lynn this morning announcing this calendar is now for sale on etsy. Two-hundred calendars were printed on 100% Crane's cotton Lettra paper in pearl white. The calendars are hand tied with silk ribbon. I'm thinking of buying one as a gift.

I also liked the holiday bird cards shown above. These cards come packaged in a set of 3. I really like the simplicity of the holiday season represented in these cards.

Write Robinson Stationery

Angel emailed me to let me know her holiday collection is completed and ready for purchase. If you're looking for some unique custom cards this year then definitely check out Write Robinson. Angel was sweet and actually sent me a sample of some of her cards from the Ready to Write line. I loved them. They came packaged in a cute re-usable bag. Thanks Angel!
