Print & Pattern

Print & Pattern has an amazing Flickr account. There are pages and pages of patterns. It's a great resource for inspiration. Patterns are placed into categories on the left side of the page. My favorite is the Paperchase section. I've always been a huge fan of Paperchase products.

Papique

The thing I love most about Papique is its simplicity. You can find a card or stationery set for every occasion. The design is simple and feels classy. Sometimes as a designer you spend so much time looking at designs and artwork that it's nice to see such simple solution.

Graduation Invites

Today a co-worker asked me to make some graduation invitations for her daughter. I of course said No Problem! So, I quickly whipped up these two designs. She already had left over envelopes from another party so the size was already determined. She loved them, but couldn't decide on which one to choose. I voted for the first one. What's your vote?

Custom Birthday Invites

I love designing custom invites. Here are some recent invites I did. I can't take credit for the beautiful kids or the photography, that all comes from Janice.

She definitely has some great photography skills. These invites are currently available at my Etsy shop. They can be customized with different photos and different text. Paper Shop ink. will be adding many more custom invites to the site.

Party Invite

Today I needed to come up with an invite for a Bachelorette party I am helping to give soon. I like to get things done ahead of time. The party is not til July. The only invites I could find were generic looking and all pink. Of course I thought the best solution would be to design my own. This is what I came up with but I still have to do the inside layout.

Furochic Gift Wrap

Furochic Gift Wrap from Jenny Wren Paperie

Paper Shop ink. is a distributor of Jenny Wren Paperie. Her designs are beautiful. I personally used her christmas collections this year.

If you would like to purchase the Furochic Gift Wrap you can visit Jenny Wren for more info. You can purchase by sending us an email at orders@papershopink.com . Each gift wrap set is $15.95.

Here is some additonal info.

Furochic Gift Wrap offers a smart and stylish alternative to paper. Based on Furoshiki, a square cloth traditionally used in Japan to wrap shopping purchases and embellish important gifts, Furochic is made of 100% cotton and measures 27" X 27". Furochic comes with a full yard of tying ribbon, a matching card and illustrated instructions for wrapping techniques. Furochic has a life long after the present has been opened and can be turned into a no-sew handbag, pillow covering, scarf, patchwork quilt or used to re-wrap another gift.

Placemats

I have a weird relationship with placemats. I always have to have them but then I end up hating them. They always get dirty and I'm constantly washing them to make them look perfect again.

We don't even have any kids!! I can only imagine what placemats look like after a child has just had dinner.

I think what I need is disposable placemats.

These disposable paper placemats from Bobs Your Uncle are not only useful, but hilarious. Each design features in the center a comical recipe written by four-year-olds…Dinosaur Soup, Little Green Thing Pizza, Thirty Minute Popcorn. They are sure to delight kids and adults of all ages. Set of 48, 11x17” placemats (8 each of 6 designs), $20 at Cocoa Crayon

Binth

Binth.com is probably one of my favorite online stationery stores. Their designs are stunning and so unique. I was just looking around and going to update my personal stock of cards. I have a lot of weddings and showers coming up this summer. It’s always great to give a card different from every other. They have an awesome baby book too. I look at it every time I visit the site.
