Essimar

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

What I like most about the etsy shop of Essimar is the variety. The paper layered prints are amazing and the note cards are very unique. If you purchase one of the paper layered prints you actually get an original not a copy or scan. There is only a certain number of prints created in each set.

I love finding an artist on etsy and then visiting their personal website. Essimar has a pretty cool site and blog.

Jengs Shop

Wednesday, December 19th, 2007

Some days I search and search for something amazing to post about. It’s not everyday I feel so in love with what I post about though. Today I am in love with these notebooks from Jengs Shop. They are just gorgeous. The books are saddle stitched and contain 30 pages of sketch paper. Size is 4.5″ x 6.5″. These would make perfect stocking stuffers. Hopefully Jen would still be able to rush them to you if you need a last minute gift. I think I need a last minute gift for myself.

Bill O’Neil

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

I’m loving the work of Bill O’Neil. I just found his etsy shop yesterday morning and was instantly drawn to his prints. Above is one of his prints beautifully framed followed by one of his calendars which is currently for sale. His artwork is modern and simple yet has so much personality. If you’re in Milwaukee stop by the main gallery in the Intercontinental Hotel to see Bill’s work. It will be in the Gallery until January.

Mod Pod Notecards

Monday, December 17th, 2007

I love the colors used on these “Mod Pod Notecards” from the esty shop of The Craft Pantry. The cards are a digital illustration and are printed on textured white paper. Size is 4.25″ x 5.5″ and blank on the inside. Blank note cards are always great to have in the house. You can use them for any occasion.

MadeByGirl

Jen Ramos, the owner and designer behind MadeByGirl.com has a great sense of style. I’ve been a reader of Jen’s blog for a while now and was happy to see an email from her reminding me of her great stationery shop. Jen has a great selection of cards and they are all printed on 100% recycled card stock. Also a percentage of Jen’s sales go to StopGlobalWarming.org. Shop Jen’s collection right here.

Remake – Rewrite, Mini Notebooks

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

These are handmade mini notebooks from Remake. Each notebook is made from salvaged materials. Isn’t it amazing how you can create something so cool out of something used. I really envy people that can produce work like this.

The inside pages include: graph paepr, kraft papers and paper from ledger & legal pads. All the paper is recycled.

Freshly Blended

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

Have you checked out the winter collection from Freshly Blended. Nicole just added the second half of the collection to her etsy shop. The collection includes these awesome matchbox jotters. They include some of Nicole’s original artwork. I love the simplicity in color and design.

Beautiful Envelopes from Notty by Nature

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

I would love to receive a letter in one of these envelopes. They are so pretty. It’s not everyday you find such custom cool envelopes. All these envelopes are hand cut and pasted together. There are many different styles for sale in the etsy shop of Notty by Nature.

These are images from the Cardline at Studi on on Fire. The cards feature illustrations by select group of talented artists. Each card is printed on 100% cotton paper. Studio on Fire is both a letterpress shop and design studio. Check out the site because the designs are fantastic and it’s pretty obvious they do outstanding work.
