My Cup of Tea

Monday, July 9, 2007

This is unrelated to stationery but it's so cool. Our hotel this weekend in Montreal was near China Town. We took a short walk through on Saturday and came across this little tea shop, My cup of tea. It caught my eye cause the shop was very modern and trendy looking.

The tea comes in a dried ball and when you brew the tea or add boiling water it unfolds to a beautiful flower. They recommend you make the tea in a glass teapot so you can view the flower unfolding. I don't drink tea that much so I didn't really want to invest in a glass teapot, but I was tempted cause it looked so neat!

This is my usual brand for blooming teas. They open well and the tea is excellent. Honestly, when you have friends over, seeing the blooming process is worth the investment in a clear glass teapot.
