New Note Card Designs

In the beginning of 2007 we are hoping to add some new stationery and note card designs. The issue comes when deciding what exactly to add. There are so many designs and vendors to choose from. Where should we start? Our overall goal is to feature and sell products that are hard to find other places. Here are a few designs that I think would fit in well to the Paper Shop ink. line of products.

We already have a few great vendors such as Tobi Wood, Pink Bath Tub, Waste Not Paper, Mudlark and LePapier Boutique. Hopefully in 2007 we will be adding many more.

Wallpaper

When I moved into the house I am currently living in we removed layers and layers of wallpaper from the walls. I've always despised wallpaper and this made me hate the stuff even more. The ugly pastel floral patterns were never my thing. Why would anyone want this stuff on their walls. It just never made sense.

Paper + Walls = Dumb Idea.

Well recently my thoughts on wallpaper have changed dramatically. The designs I am seeing online are stunning. I love some of these prints.




Since I am in the process of moving right now, I'm seriously looking into purchasing some cool wallpaper. I'm even thinking of doing every wall in the house! (ok, not really) But I would like to attempt to wallpaper one room. Maybe either the office or the downstairs half bath. I plan on picking out the wallpaper and handing over the work to my mom. She's a good wallpaperer!

Eventually I'd like to sell wallpaper on www.papershopink.com. I'm curious if others are changing their views on wallpaper as I have. Are people actually buying these cool designs online? Are the people making these beautiful wallpapers actually selling them well? I'm curious to find out.

Invitations

In the beginning of 2007 Paper Shop ink. is going to feature a unique line of invitations. These invitations will be perfect for unique weddings or any other one of a kind event. The invitations are going to be available as custom designs or imprintables. You will be able to pick a design and do all the printing yourself or choose to have one of our designers do the text printing for you. If you choose to do the printing yourself all of the pieces will be mailed to you ready to assemble. If your choice is to have us do the printing for you then your invites will arrive completed and assembled.

Either way the invites are gorgeous and you won't find them anywhere else. Here are some photos of what the invites will look like. These photos are not the exact product so stayed tuned for more detailed pictures.

Paper Shop ink. has gone live just in time for the holidays. It's been hard to not give away all the product to friends and family as holiday gifts. It's also been hard not keeping everything for myself. I think we have started off with a few great vendors. Tobi Wood is probably my new favorite line of stationery. When I came across Tobi's designs I ordered her products within a half hour. The bright colors that she uses are beautiful.

Mudlark is also being featured on our site right now. All of the designs from Mudlark are gorgeous. We tried to pick out some designs that are hard to find from other retailers. It was hard deciding which ones to sell. Hopefully soon we will carry some of their other product lines such as candles, bath and body products, journals and etc.
